PK Subban's Sleigh
PK Subban made it a very Merry Christmas for several Nashville-area children who are battling sickle cell disease. The veteran defenseman of the Nashville Predators showed up at a local hospital in the “Subban Sleigh” and took six children for a ride in the open-carriage around the city before stopping at Bridgestone Arena where the Predators play. While playing for the Canadiens several years ago, Subban committed $10 million to a Montreal children’s hospital. He spread the good cheer once again, taking the children in Nashville undergoing treatment for sickle cell disease to the Predators team store where he bought them all presents. This wasn’t the Music City Miracle, but Subban made sure the children with sickle cell disease had a moment they could cherish forever.
