Jack Wallace Scores Goal in His First Paralympic Winter Games

Jack Wallace, a previously featured athlete on GoodSport and USA Sled Hockey Paralympic Athlete, scored a goal with 8:15 left of the 2nd period of Team USA's second preliminary round game of the PyeongChang 2018 Paralympic Winter Games.

After a tragic waterskiing accident, Wallace's right leg was amputated right above the knee. Not letting it get him down, he was on the U.S. Sled Hockey's Developmental Team for three seasons before making the National Sled Hockey Team last year, scoring his first national team goal at the Sled Hockey World Championships in 2017.

The USA sled team defeated the Czech Republic 10-0 and will face off against South Korea tomorrow to close the preliminary round. We wish the best to Jack and the rest of Team USA!
