Henry Bibby, who was a basketball star at UCLA and once coached at USC, is on mission to help homeless children throughout the country. He recently learned there are more than 26,000 children without homes in Orange County, California and felt the need to do something about it. Bibby decided to hold a free basketball camp Saturday and Sunday at the Asics Gym in Irvine, CA. He wants to hold more clinics nationwide as part of the Henry Bibby Star Athletes program “There’s nothing out there like this. If the kids can be involved in sports, we can do a lot of teaching that way, so I’m excited about it,” Bibby told the Los Angeles Times. Bibby was on three national championship teams at UCLA and enjoyed a solid career in the NBA, playing mostly with the Philadelphia 76ers.
